What The Club Says
The golf course of Buenavista del Norte is located in the extreme northeast of Tenerife, next to the Teno Mountain range (natural area protected within the category of rural park). The golf course was designed by Severiano Ballesteros. The 18 hole, a 72-par-course, has a length of 6019 meters. The course has 6 holes of par 3, par 4 and par 5. The outstanding holes are closer to the coast and the player seems to hit the ball right into the ocean or into the lake of holes 9 and 18 that are connected by a waterfall.

Fantastic course well worth playing
First time playing Buenavista Club de Golf and got to say was impressed. Travelled from the South of the island and the road to the golf club wind up and down the mountain sides giving a few scary turns, but it is all worth it to play this quite spectacular course. Friendly welcome in the impressive clubhouse and shop. Was playing solo but was offered a earlier tee off as was fairly quiet on the course. Starter on the first tee keeping everything moving along well and offered some great tips for some of the holes. Tee times every 10 mins unlike other courses in Tenerife who have 8 minute intervals so was never held up much even playing as a single. Some stunning vistas on this course set between mountainous backdrop and the sea. Some holes quite tight and elevated which proved interesting in the strongish breeze. Green true, speed just right. I walked the course with a pull trolley and found it not too bad on the legs but there are a few inclines to negotiate. Overall well impressed and glad I played it.Reviewer Rating

As ever fabulous course but attitude off staff needs improving, no green fee discount for signature hole having temporary green. However biggest drawback was the 6 hour round & when emailed my word was doubted despite 3 groups waiting to play most of the tees all round.Reviewer Rating

Buenavista - top course in Tenerife
If you find yourself on a golf trip to Tenerife then Buenavista is a must play. Designed by the great Seve and his personality can be experienced in the course layout. The course is very challenging and be prepared to use every club in the bag as it a very long and technical course. Every hole has a breath taking view of either the mountains or the rolling Atlantic Ocean.Reviewer Rating

Challenging Course if the wind is up
Very nice course and very challenging as links course right on the coast and holes playing upto 3 clubs different. If on the south side of the island bit of a trek to get to but worth itReviewer Rating

Fantastic scenic course
Tees fairways and greens well maintained.Layout by Several B is top notch.
Scenery is breathtaking.
Reception staff Course Marshalls Bar Staff all extremely friendly.
