What The Club Says
Designed by South African Phil Jacobs who was responsible for the design of The Links at Fancourt in South Africa and Ria Bintan in Indonesia, MBGC is one of the very few outstanding links-styled golf courses that you can find in Asia.
The 6493 m, par 72 course features 85 dramatic yet treacherous pot bunkers of varying sizes and depth, tremendous variety in the length of the holes and many undulations to provide many hours of challenges and enjoyment to golfers. Signature holes of the quality course include the 13th hole par 3, complete with island green design and the 651-metre 4th hole which is Singapore’s first and only par 6.
Marina Bay Golf Course is one of the few golf courses in Singapore to offer buggies equipped with the Global Positioning System. With a better overview of the golf course, golfers can strategize and improve their game. After a busy day at work, executives can enjoy a round of night golf available from Wednesday to Friday or practice their swings at the driving range. With 146 bays, the four-tier driving range is one of the largest in Singapore.
The course also offers two practice putting greens and one chipping green for golfers, a pro shop, golf academy and my golf kaki golf club. Golfers can visit these facilities or relax at the uniquely-designed Canopy Café which offers a breathtaking view of the golf course and the city skylines.

Best Public Course in South East Asia
Incredible course conditions. Very challenging. I bit pricey but worth it. Should get rid of handicap requirements for folks who don't play enough per year to score a handicap.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 22.7)

Enjoyable day's play
This is the 'budget' end of the market in Singapore. It's nicely done, but you don't get frills like a set of balls to drive to warm up.Probably costing about double that of the UK for a similar standard

Well Worth testing yourself!
Bunkers are just the worst (best challenge) you will ever get. Play side out or out backwards if you dont want to be punished further... its very infrequent you can even see over the lip of the bunker forwards; and if you did there's likely another one waiting for you!The course is always in good condition and has that great mix of "thinking" your way around and just letting rip on the long wide driving holes.
