What the club says: Designed by South African Phil Jacobs who was responsible for the design of The Links at Fancourt in South Africa and Ria Bintan in Indonesia, MBGC is one of the very few outstanding links-styled golf courses that you can find in Asia.
The 6493 m, par 72 course features 85 dramatic yet treacherous pot bunkers of varying sizes and depth, tremendous variety in the length of the holes and many undulations to provide many hours of challenges and enjoyment to golfers. Signature holes of the quality course include the 13th hole par 3, complete with island green design and the 651-metre 4th hole which is Singapore’s first and only par 6.
Marina Bay Golf Course is one of the few golf courses in Singapore to offer buggies equipped with the Global Positioning System. With a better overview of the golf course, golfers can strategize and improve their game. After a busy day at work, executives can enjoy a round of night golf available from Wednesday to Friday or practice their swings at the driving range. With 146 bays, the four-tier driving range is one of the largest in Singapore.
The course also offers two practice putting greens and one chipping green for golfers, a pro shop, golf academy and my golf kaki golf club. Golfers can visit these facilities or relax at the uniquely-designed Canopy Café which offers a breathtaking view of the golf course and the city skylines.

Best Public Course in South East Asia
Incredible course conditions. Very challenging. I bit pricey but worth it. Should get rid of handicap requirements for folks who don't play enough per year to score a handicap.(Round played: May 2021 - Score: 93 Handicap: 22.7)

Enjoyable day's play
This is the 'budget' end of the market in Singapore. It's nicely done, but you don't get frills like a set of balls to drive to warm up.Probably costing about double that of the UK for a similar standard

Well Worth testing yourself!
Bunkers are just the worst (best challenge) you will ever get. Play side out or out backwards if you dont want to be punished further... its very infrequent you can even see over the lip of the bunker forwards; and if you did there's likely another one waiting for you!The course is always in good condition and has that great mix of "thinking" your way around and just letting rip on the long wide driving holes.

It's an okay course, was a bit too hot and humid. Only issue were marshalls not keeping an eye on slow players. Took an argument with another group for them to act, which should not have been needed. Made for an unpleasant day, despite some very nice greens to put on and a good score

This course is in the middle of the city of Singapore. The view is magnificent and you can see the city sky scrappers from here. And on one side, you can see the sea. The course is very well maintained.

Conveniently located and good, albeit not spectacular, course for someone looking to squeeze in a round when visiting Singapore. A course you can play in floodlights some days a week. Somewhat expensive greenfee. Good quality rental clubs for SGD 65.

This is really the only public course in Singapore but it is a great course - better maintained than many membership courses - links course so tuff if you get sucked into the bunker. The staff are really friendly and well recommended

Overpriced and just a money crazy golf club. The course plays well but has insane deep bunkers that really makes life hard. The overall club experience is very poor, zero customer service and 100% focused on taking your money. Head to Batam for a much more friendly and cost beneficial experience.
