What the club says: This course is the second oldest course in continental Europe and is very traditional. It was established in 1890 and is only 10 minutes from the centre of Porto. For a short course, this par 71 can be very challenging, with it's narrow fairways with trees lining most of them. The back nine includes par fives that are accessible at the best of times, so the opportunity for good endings to matches are often there.
