Bangi Golf Resort’s course may look short on paper, but that’s exactly what makes it deceptively tricky. The layout forces you to think carefully about shot placement rather than relying on distance alone.
Why it feels challenging:
Strategic bunkers & water hazards: They’re positioned to catch you if you get too aggressive.
Undulating greens: Reading the breaks properly can make or break your score.
Risk vs. reward design: Many holes tempt you to go for it, but a small mistake can cost strokes.
It’s the kind of course where a controlled short game and smart course management matter more than raw power. In fact, many golfers say it’s a great place to sharpen precision and decision-making.

This is another great game. Bangi course has improved a lot after they cut many trees.The course is friendlier than before. Plus the weather was nice. However the putting green is quite bumpy

Course in not very good condition with bunkers more like waste areas. Everywhere in the rough seemed to be GUR according to the caddies.
