Golf d'Opio Valbonne

No Rating (Not yet rated) | Post Review | Website

Course Information

In the heart of the Côte d’Azur, the Opio Valbonne Golf Course has the advantage of an exceptional climate and ideal geographic surroundings, well-sheltered from the winds. It offers a unique scenery of sea and mountains, where the Alps interlace with the rivers of the Mediterranean. In a magnificent, undulating natural park of 220 hectares, the design of the course marries perfectly the rich vegetation and the different variety of trees. It is a course which has attracted the most demanding of European Golfers, who are always in search of originality and relaxation. The course, one of the oldest in the region, was designed in 1966 by the master of English architecture, Donald Harradine. Major work was undertaken in 2002, guided by the architect Robert Berthet.
