What the club says: CHALONS EN CHAMPAGNE G.C is situated in a unique site " LA GRANDE ROMANIE " old Roman camp ( 2000 years ago ) in front of " Voie Romaine " are the ATTILA's camp, who, 1500 years ago, was defeated 5/4 in match-play against king Theodoric. ( 453 after J.C ).
Next, nothing happened during 1500 years, when some golfers found this ideal place to build a championship golf course, nice, tricky.
