What the club says: Letterkenny Golf Club is one of the most scenic parkland courses in the North West. The superbly upgraded parkland layout where an imaginative revamping in 2007 of the course by Declan and Ronan Brannigan has developed the land on the Barnhill estate bordering Lough Swilly into one of the finest in the country.

Changed dramatically since we played the course back in 2001. Now two different nines, the front nine makes its way along the shores of the Lough and has a number of ditches and small lakes, whereas the back nine is situated on the side of the hill. The course was very soft but the fairways and greens were in good condition, put my bad score down to canoeing the day before down in Cavan! Nice pint of Guiness afterwards.

Fantastic parkland course. I was very well look after by the staff in the proshop and by the catering/ bar staff. I had the most wonderful days golf and the food afterwards was only fabulous. The course was in fantastic shape, green were the best I have seen in a long time and fairways had a nice cut of turf. I would recommend this venue for any class of golfer and very reasonable too. Keep it up Letterkenny.
