Like playing golf on a driving range.Course has great views and some interesting holes but won't be rushing back to play. Course is so tight so at times you have to wait to see off or you would be doing so over people's heads. We nearly got hit and I've never heard so many shouts of fore.

First timePlayed this course as a guest of a member and it was great. Obviously shortcomings during Covid-19 such as no clubhouse afterwards but this is understandable.

Lovely links courseOn arriving at the course the club pro could not be more helpful chatted about conditions, tips on holes generally lots of great advise .when preparing to start met several members who where playing that morning all shared tips on the course everyone was very helpful and welcoming. The course was in great shape even with all the resent rain greens were brilliant allin all I would recommend everybody play this course.

Best course in the west of CornwallA biased review as it's my Club. The course is a fantastic test for all abilities, 9/10 times the wind will test your links metal. The standout hole for me is the 10th, a short par 4. A blind tee shot on the right line for the long hitter will reward a low score.
A must play course if your visiting the Duchy.
Amazing Views!!Lovely course with outstanding views over the coastline. Little bit crowded in places with tee boxes mid fairway on previous hole. Lots of blind tee shots which will be easier second time round I?m sure! All in all a fantastic challenging course well worth a visit and will return!
Proper Old School Golf CourseReally enjoyed my visit to West Cornwall.
A proper old fashioned course that you have to think your way around which is great.
I think I hit driver once on the front 9.
The fairways are undulating and compact and a fair few blind shots - but these are well marked out)
The greens and bunkers are superb.
The front 9 feels a lot tighter and there is a few chances to open up on the back with some stunning views over the small local town and sea.
If the wind picks up it will become a real test! But enjoyable one.
A great place to play golfWhat an experience. Great course interesting holes and amazing views. I suspect it would be a lot tougher when wind really blows. Only concern is a lot of blind tee shots

Great as alwaysalways play here when down, tough course, good greens for this time of year
(Round played: Mar 2018 - Score: 88 Handicap: 13.1)
Fantastic!!!!Played a few courses in Cornwall earlier in the year, but taking everything into account (Course condition/value for money/friendliness) this was easily the best.
(Round played: Jul 2017 - Score: 82 Handicap: 12.1)
A superb lay out with a lot of blind shots, but that's because of the dunes & other natural obstacles. The whole course was in excellent condition, with the greens fast & true.
You've really got to think your way around this golf course & I'd love to play it again as there are a number of different choices I'd make.
If you're in Cornwall & want a round of golf you have to play this course.

The course and greens were in excellent condition. Play it twice if you can. We got very confused the first time. There are a few crossovers so you have to be careful. I play off 19 and found the course manageable. My wife is a high handicapper and found some of the carries very hard. I think she enjoyed the scenery more than the golf. There are some stunning views as you go round.
If you are in the area this is a must. We found the members most welcoming and helpful.
