What The Club Says

Designed by English architect Frank Pennink, Vilamoura Old Course was opened in 1969 and was completely refurbished in 1996, when several improvements were introduced and a new clubhouse built. The oldest of the Vilamoura courses, its tree lined fairways and exemplary greens make this layout one of the best in the area. The course is renowned for the way the designer has skilfully utilised the natural contours of the land, whilst maintaining the native vegetation, consisting mainly of pine trees. Vilamoura Old is a track that will definitely linger long in the memory of visiting golfers.

Classic Course empty in January

Brilliant course in great condition. Made to feel like millionaires and with only 11 golfers on the course all day we were. Will definately play again if visiting Vilamoura

Fantastic course, a must visit if in the Algarve. Course in great condition. New club house is amazing! Brand new balls at the range with a tracer.

Undulating parkland course. No rough anywhere. .local trees overhang the fairways making some drives very narrow. Excellent condition all round..lovely greens. Fast. but true.

Great course beautiful view and layout. Easy to walk with some exiting holes but nothing too serious. Definitely play again

Great course, you need to really think your way round. Greens had a blight so some were not in great condition but should be back to standard in next couple of months.
