What the club says: Tunshill Golf Club is a testing 9 hole moorland course of 5745yds with a par of 70 and SSS of 68.
The course is 9 holes but there are 18 tees giving a different feel, yardage and test for every hole,it is generally regarded by those who have played it to be a moderately difficult course however good approach play and putting will be rewarded.

Lovely nine hole course at the side of the M62, with views down to Rochdale and beyond.
Different tee positions on the back nine make for a challenging course, especially if the wind gets up.Very well maintained by the lone greenkeeper, how does a great job.

This is my local course it was in a lovey condition when I played it.
Testing par 3 13th, with the farmers field a magnet for golf balls, very testing back to back par fives and long difficult finishing hole.
Lovely greens this course is well worth a visit.
