One of the true best links courses in the world

played it in a 50 mph, I love links, but this is something special.
the only problem is the price, played it about 10 years ago, it was EUR 110, now it's EUR 275. All the other big name links are similar or worse, but that's seriously expensive.
If you've never been it's worth it, but I wouldn't go back for that price

Another Kingdom Beauty!

This a wonderful links course which is surrounded by the beautiful Tralee Bay and its many little islands. It is a difficult course particularly the back 9. Take a buggy if you can and if you’ve thought the first 9 are energy sapping, you’ve seen nothing yet. Greens are in great nick.

One of Kerry’s best

Tralee Golf Course is one of our best courses in Kerry with the water (the Atlantic) visible from about 12 of the holes and watt a majectis view. The waves were crashing against the rocks and the foam look exquisite. Course is in superb nick......greens fairways and tees. Catering was top class and c9mpan6 was great. Loads of value in their shop right now as Christmas sale has started.

Tralee a joy to behold

Tralee was in superb condition for our second day of the Pat Mulcair Am am, a competition played on two of Ireland’s greatest link courses and available to every golfer nationwide on this weekend annually. I had friends down from Dublin who loved Ballybunion but thought Tralee was majestic, despite it being very dry as a result of all our great weather. Greens were fast and rough was best to be avoided if possible. Bunkers were challenging, as always. Food in the bar afterwards was excellent with a wide choice. In summary, a great course!!!!

Kerrys Forgotten Gem

What a wonderful course exists in Barrow about 15 minutes from ten town of Tralee. The sea features in ten majority of holes and par 3s are an interesting challenge. The Par 5 second in addition to the par 5 11th give an interesting challenge while the par 5 18th is a real birdie opportunity, the 9th should equally be so but the terrain is softer underfoot on this fairway so an extra club is often required. Greens are in super condition and my favourite hole is the par 3 third. Never easy. The par 4 12th is index one and is deservingly so. A beautiful backdrop of Tralee bay can always be viewed from most holes if you are out of any of them. Restaurant food is superb and staff are superrb.

The best views from any course in Ireland. The huge spend and the work done on the ninth is hard to understand and the course doesn't feel as good to me as it used to feel. I love the back nine and I would recommend this course to all visitors to Ireland. Like Ballybunion Waterville Doonbeg and Lahinch add this to your Itinerary when you visit the South West of Ireland.

I loved this course. Easily the most scenic I've played and some truly spectacular golf holes. The back 9 is better than the first, although the 2nd, 3rd and 8th are excellent. The course really kicks in to gear on the 11th, an incredibly tough par 4 with a blind tee shot followed by a long approach across a gaping chasm. The par 3 12th is a do or die uphill short iron across the Kerry version of the grand canyon. The next 5 holes continue the boisterous, careering theme, with the last par 3 awe inspiring. The par 5 18th is a bit of a letdown to finish but it would genuinely have been hard to live up to the previous holes. Our group all preferred this course to Ballybunion. Second only to Carne in my favourite courses.

A beautiful course in a great setting with the sea to be seen from many of the holes. Course is in great condition but it's tough. Some really tough par 4s (8th, 10th, 12th and 17th) and 11th is a physically challenging Par 5. 16th is a fantastic Par 3 with the sea to be seen at the back of the green. The catering staff are top class

A wonderful day spent at Tralee. Everyone speaks about the back 9 but we couldn't understand this as we played the front 9 as they were fantastic holes. But then we got to the back 9 and it all made sense. Totally blown away by the quality and the beauty. 18 superb holes but yes - the back 9 are totally stunning. Claim to fame - didn't lose a ball!
Second favourite course ever played - the only one to beat it - Cypress Point.

A fantastic course in a beautiful location albeit the conditions made it very difficult which allowed me to do ok when the wind was behind me but very difficult when we were into the wind. Friendly staff and superb food in the restaurant is evident also noting it was good value. Seán
