What The Club Says
Our course is 9 holes, 3000 yards long, Par 35, with views to Chichester Harbour and the Downs. Its proximity to the sea, and areas of gorse, most closely cateorise it as a links type course.
It is very easy walking, suitable for all ages, and all levels of golfer. Hayling enjoys a mild micro-climate, and together with our free draining course it is rare that we have to close the course due to inclement weather conditions.

Great course, great facilities ,hidden gem
Stayed on Haying Island, asked one of the reception girls if they knew of a golf course nearby, she suggested Tournebury, rang the day before to book a round of 18holes, they have a 10 bay driving range, onsite golf shop selling clubs, bags shoes etc but no clothing, great on site independently owned cafe serving excellent food. The day we played it was 33deg but the fairways were still relatively soft under foot, bunkers with great sand in and the greens were outstanding. For a 9 hole course just under 3000 yes it was a joy to play, a par 3 of about 125yss and 2 par 3 at 200yds, all protected by bunkers or a ditch in front , 2 par 5s and great par 4s

cost doesnt relate to standard of course
disappointed that they are still charging full cost when they are working on the greens and bunkers, most bunkers are GUR, and greens are not yet up to a suitable standard, the work they are doing is commendable but should reduce the cost whilst this takes placeReviewer Rating

Local / Home Course
Local course with reasonable layout. Course can be quite water logged with heavy rain. Facilities are minimal, but adequate for course and area.Good lLocal amenities means you can stock up before playing.Reviewer Rating
