What The Club Says
Tiverton is considered by many to be among the best 18-hole parkland courses in the region, with spectacular views. It's a challenge for those with high or low handicaps, with a wide variety of trees lining the fairways complementing the natural hazards. The course measures 6,346 yards from the competition tees with a par of 71, while the ladies' course is 5,774 yards with a par of 74.
Tiverton Golf Club was established in 1932 thanks to the generosity of Sir John Amory, who donated the land for the benefit of the people of Tiverton. His wife, Lady Amory (Joyce Wethered), who was widely regarded as one of the world's finest golfers, contributed to the present layout of the course. It was originally designed by five-times Open Champion James Braid, recognised as one of the best golf course designers of all time with more than 200 to his name, including Gleneagles.

Disappointed that still lots of cut grass not picked up.
A few of us had problems with the bunkers, the sand was very fine and hard to get out in one.

West Country delight
An enjoyable, parkland style course that requires accuracy from the tees and a keen eye on the greens. The third hole will test anyone?s composure! The fairway, from tee to plateau green, has a 45 degree L-R camber. Driving to such a fairway could leave mental scars!Reviewer Rating

Lovely course in the summer
Lots of trees but very well set out. Greens and fairways in top condition. Shame I pulled my calf muscle o the 4th hole.Third time here but could not remember half the holes.

Excellent condition despite bad weather
I've recently joined Tiverton and am very pleased to see the condition the course is in despite the recent spell of particularly wet weather. Also so course improvement going on which will make for some interesting new holes.Due to covid, not much to comment on in terms of hospitality.

This course has Trees!!
Very well maintained, lots of trees to get around, fairways seem wide enough to keep ball on but the trees will draw you in, first 3 holes are very tough! Members weren't overly friendly and didn't seem to like that non members were allowed to play tooReviewer Rating
