Outstanding

Before we went someone referred to it as 'the Augusta of the North', they weren't wrong. Fantastic course, beautiful condition and a great test of golf. It was also one of the most friendly and welcoming we've visited for a long while.

A beautiful setting

The Hirsel is set in a beautiful tree lined setting, we played in February and the condition of the course was very good. All the greens were i play and it was a very enjoyable day?s golf.

Augusta of the North

The Hirsel is one of those locations that quietly and competently garner a reputation as "One you simply must play sometime". This is well deserved as the club, course and welcome are spot on. The real difference though is despite us being a society of "average high handicappers" the warm and positive response from members out on the course was first class. Go, play and enjoy it.

A wee hidden gem in the Borders. Stay straight (as with most courses!) and the course will reward you. Very friendly staff, lots of facilities and I've already booked for next time. Splendid.

Lovely course with very good facilities. Played on an overcast day following showers. Fairways and greens drained well.

The Hirsel Gc is a fantastic course in excellent condition despite it only being early April. I have played here several times and never been disappointed. It is a very picturesque course with a stream coming into play on several holes. and quite challenging. The greens are very good .All the staff from the Pro to the clubhouse are so friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be back again later in the year

This is the first time I have played the Hirsel in over two years, and yes I wasn't disappointed, It was in excellent condition and I would gladly play this course again and recommend it to anyone. The only draw back was that there wasn't any food when we came off as the kitchen had closed at six o'clock and the bar would have been closed as well if a party had not been still in when we came off the course.
