What The Club Says
Taunton & Pickeridge Golf Club was first designed in 1892 by Mr Henry Fowler. There are spectacular views to the East across Sedgemoor to Glastonbury Tor and the Mendips, to the West lie the Brendons and Exmoor, to the North the Vale of Taunton and the beautiful Quantocks and to the South the Blackdowns.

Great condition
Great course for higher handicappers. Wide fairways and opportunities to score on every hole. Also in great condition for time of year - no temporary tees or any GUR on the course.Reviewer Rating

Great little course
Played during storm Francis, so conditions were not ideal. However, this is a little gem of a course. The mixture of holes is very varied, but I can't think of any hole that wasn't great fun to play. Some large undulating greens which were in great condition. Difficult to decide on a signature hole but the 9th and 14th are great fun. I'll definitely be going back.Reviewer Rating

A good challenge
A varied and undulating course with lots of challenges and few really easy holes. Always in good condition whenever I play there.(Round played: Jun 2020 - Score: 81 Handicap: 8.5)

Links Golf with Trees!
Very unusual course built on the site of an open cast mine. Severely undulating fairways rarely give a flat lie & you may not find your ball where expected, but this is a fun course to play.Good fast greens, many which slope as well and, vitally, the surrounds are well maintained, as I found myself putting from off the green a few times.
Fabulous views, a nice expansive clubhouse, very friendly staff & members so I had the impression this would be a good golf club to be a member of.... I loved it!
