What the club says: An enviable West Cork location, Skibbereen & West Carbery Golf Course is an open 18-hole parkland golf course with panoramic views set against the backdrop of Lough Hyne, Ireland’s first marine nature reserve, the beautiful sailing and fishing village of Baltimore and the islands.
The first 9 holes contain 5 mature par four holes, two par fives and two par threes. The back 9 contain 6 rugged par fours, 2 par threes and 1 par five. There is a stunning panoramic view of the surrounding countryside from all back 9 holes.

Beautiful setting with fabulous views and friendly members. A challenging and fun course to play especially the back nine with a great long par 5 on the 12th hole to test your driving skills. The greens can be fast and quite tricky especially when the weather is drier but I like to be tested so this course gives me plenty of range and scope for all round practice for my competitions. The online tee booking is great! so when I am in town and want to play a round with some pals I know I can book and plan ahead. Good value round.

Set in a lovely setting with great views. A challenging course with danger on some holes. open and undulating at times. The green's are very fast in summer. The clubhouse is small, friendly and offers value for money after a round. I visit from Brighton, England every year to play.
