What the club says: A scenic course designed by James Braid and Ben Sayers boasts unparalleled panoramic views of the Kyles of Bute, Clyde coast, Arran and the Cowal Peninsula. At only 5419 yards long don't be deceived, Rothesay golf course will present any player a challenge whether it be the rolling par 4's or the testing par 3's where par is always a good score.

Excellent course in fantastic condition. Staff and all connected to club were brilliant. Last played here 3 years ago, will not wait so long to return to one of my favourite courses. Many thanks for a memorable weekend.

Very hilly course with fantastic views. The greens have suffered due to the hot weather but a very enjoyable place to play golf.

Beautiful

Every hole has a spectacular view as you’re constantly going up a hill, bar the rare few holes. Honestly the best cheap course you could ever play.

What a wonderful course.

Its short but tough especially the 1st hole. Its a real awakener. Hilly isn't the word for it and the views are spectacular. The course itself drains well, well it was slightly soggy underfoot but after the real heavy rain the day before it was in good playing condition. Greens were reseptive and tees were well positioned. Fairways didn't allow for runs due to the moisture but were wide enough and the first two cuts were fair. Anything wider and you were usually in trees. A very picturesque course with interesting holes. Just a shame it is over 500 miles away.

Great venue, although holding a lot of water at places due to severe weather beforehand.

Not the hardest course I'll ever play but challenging al the same. Played 2days in a row, lovely weather on day 1 and high winds and driving rain on day 2. If its a calm day it's easy to shoot low.
