What The Club Says
Rhyl golf course is a 9 hole (18 tee) challenging links with large fairways but tight, well guarded greens which will challenge golfers of all standards. The par 71 course (off the white tees) provides a test for any golfer, especially when the northerly and westerly winds blow. The greens are firm and fast, the course is open throughout the year and even in winter - playing conditions are particularly good. The greens are always in excellent condition and we never need to use temporaries plus, the fairways make preferred lies unnecessary other than in the wettest years. Set just outside of Rhyl, off the coast road to Prestatyn, the Irish Sea is only yards away from the length of the course. This course provides a test and excellent value for money at any time of the year.

Friendly course and a good test of golf
Couse looks benign when there is no wind, but you are penalised for missing the fairway with some punishing rough and the odd water hazard.(Round played: Jun 2021 - Score: 88 Handicap: )

Nice and easy 9 holer
Rhyl golf club is a 9 hole James Braid design with 18 tee positions so should you choose to play 18 you'll experience slightly different challenge second time round. With the wind coming off the sea, holes 5-9 are played back into the breeze. A classic simple links course to enjoy.Reviewer Rating
