What the club says: Located within a mile of the bustling centre of the city of Belfast and nestling under the shadow of the giant Harland and Wolff shipyard cranes, Ormeau Golf Club can truly be labelled “the course in the heart of the city”.
Formed in 1893, the club is one of the oldest in Ireland and today complements the exciting developments that go to make up the city’s Laganside complex. The clubhouse and course are situated on mature tree covered parkland once part of the Marquis of Donegall’s Ormeau demesne.

Great Course
This is a small parkland course but with some difficult holes not long but can be challenging especially the par 3's(Round played: Jul 2020 - Score: 81 Handicap: 16)

Perfect course

Beautiful Course
Beautiful course from 1st to 9th, greens, & fairways where perfect. Definitely recommend

Golf course in the city
Flat and surprisingly spacious for a course that is in the heart if the city. it's a tuff little course. Why? I can't work it out. It appears easy enough, but always plays harder than it looks.I will be back, as sooner or later I going to score well on this course.

(Round played: Jul 2016 - Score: 94 Handicap: 23.4)

For a nine hole course its always in excellent condition greens and fairways are always kept in good condition and would make some more expensive courses look very average indeed.
