What The Club Says
Designed by European Golf Design in association with Michael King, the golf course at Worsley Park provides an exciting challenge to golfers of all abilities. The golf course has been laid out utilising the natural contours of the terrain and the indigenous water features, the greens and tees are all laid to USGA specifications, making it a truly enjoyable challenge. At 6,611 yards (par 71) from the back tees, this is a course that requires brains instead of brute strength to achieve a successful score.

Slightly disappointing compared to previous visits.
Played on the 24th September. Greens were good, as they usually are but lots of unrepaired pitch marks, which I suppose is a drawback to a hotel golf course and not the fault of the course, rather than the players playing on it.The fairways and tee beds were really poor though, I appreciate we've just had a very dry summer, so perhaps they lost all the grass, but the fairways were basically tacky mud on the whole as we'd had some rain a few days prior to our visit. The bunkers were also in poor condition, many containing huge amounts of footprints, and generally had a real lack of sand in them.
The staff as ever were all great though, and as we were all very low handicappers', allowed us to play from the white tees. The layout is very good, with an excellent variety of holes, it's just a shame the condition of the course wasn't in the same league as on previous visits.
