What the club says: Longside first opened in 1979 and was extended to 18 holes in 1996. A parkland course on the outskirts of the village of Longside, 6 miles from Peterhead on the A950 and only 31 miles from Aberdeen.

found Longside Golf club to be a good club overall the coarse is still very wet in places but it is improving the greens have improved vastly since my last visit Most of the staff are very friendly and the food is excellent will be playing hear again

Course needs a lot of attention. Greens are poor on most holes. Tee boxes need improving. Every tee should be flat.

Though friendly locals, no one around at club house, greens were poor almost universally and more GUR than most courses visited

A nice parkland course kept in good condition with good greens. Several fairly short par 4 holes so maybe not so much of a challenge for the low handicappers and big hitters. Virtually flat so good if you don't enjoy climbing up and down hills. Trees come into play on several holes and water hazards on a few too, rough is not too deep but its still quite easy to loose your ball if you stray offline. Good value and an enjoyable course.

Excellent course which is forgiving for the beginner or even a low handicapper looking to find their swing. Practice nets and putting green available also. I will be playing there again.
