Holiday game
Playing off 18 hcp, we thought it was a good fair test off yellow tees, a classic links course.A mixture of flat links holes and classic dunes holes. We thought it better than the photos on the website. The club house was very smart inside and the lady in the Pro Shop was very helpful, she even gave us a discount on our original price we booked our game at.A breezy excellent day out we also got around in 4 hours on a August midweek afternoon..

We chose North Wales GC in our itinerary. Well traveled cat 2 golfers looking forward to the experience. The welcome in the Pro shop was weird/ ridiculous. He didn’t take his eyes off his laptop for the entire duration of our interaction after he made the delayed effort to acknowledge our obvious presence. Very rude, it wasn’t a pressing business matter, just watching Golf!. The course is in great condition especially the greens and run offs with great views into the wonderful area it is set in. The layout is awkward and tight to say the least with tee boxes crossing greens on several holes and adjacent holes firing at you making it pretty dangerous especially on the front 9. Balls flying around you without a fore shout. Nearly 5 hours into the round we walked off after 15 holes as 5 groups were backed up on what looked like a nice couple of par 3’s but we just couldn’t take the waiting anymore. The bar staff were friendly and the food was top notch. Would play again (with a crash helmet).Reviewer Rating

Fantastic Gem on the North Wales Coast
Had a fantastic day out, beautiful views on a well-designed, incredibly well kept course with an excellent variety of holes. The 8th blind tee shot, and the iconic Par 3s on the back nine stand out as reasons to visit. 18 holes completed in under four hours, the clubhouse was very welcoming, would highly recommend.Reviewer Rating
