What the club says: Although not the longest course in the region, the 9 hole course at Lightcliffe Golf Club measures 5660 yards when played as an 18 hole for which it offers a par of 68. Do not underestimate this parkland course, however, as it possesses more than just the occasional obstacle for the golfer to successfully negotiate in order to come away with a great score.
The course was re-designed during World War 2 by a Member whilst a Prisoner of War.

The new ditches being introduced will add to the decisions any lady golfer has to make on the tee.
Well maintained, when I played it, it was the driest track I've played since September.

A quality 9 hole course in the Halifax district. 7 par 4's and 2 par 3's provide enough of a test for all standard of players. The 3rd hole is the most picturesque to me. Course and greens in great nick. Will definitely want to return here...(Round played: May 2019 - Score: 93 Handicap: 17.6)
