What the club says: Lickey Hills Golf Course is the home of Rose Hill Golf Club and was established in 1921, the land was gifted by Cadburys to be used as a golf course and is currently run by “MyTime Golf”. The course is considered to be one of the best municipal golf courses in the country. The course is an undulating parkland course with banks of forest pines and far reaching views, so if you are not quite on your game you can still enjoy the beautiful surroundings.
Hilly course with great views and currently autumnal colours; wet underfoot in many areas of the course after recent rain; poor drainage that left some of the greens harder to judge and very soft
A course that needs to be played, Dave and his team make the course a playable joy. If only they had the funds to put ideas into realities, how out standing and more challenging could this become.

Heard about this course quite a while ago but had never played it before. Nice track but personally its a buggy for me. First few holes are up and down but fairly simple. Some great Par 3s. Considering this is a municipal I was quite impressed and would certainly go back.

this course is a real challenge however the price is too much for the quality that it provides I have paid better courses for half the cost
a challenging course physically lots ups and downs not for the faint hearted ,but we'll worthwhile for the views alone .

Played here for over 30 years. Its in beautiful setting, the course has matured nicely over the years. The trees on 13th were not even planted when I first played the course. It has the tag of being a municipal, the odd time you will get the odd dog walker, the odd chav, the odd mountain biker but this is rare. The bunkers are not great and the greens could be better or mown shorter. But the set out, the fairways, the trickery of trees and other hazards means you need to play a good game to get round. On Teeofftimes you can get 18 holes for 9 quid, absolute bargain.
