Nice to play course in Lickey Hills. Good value

Always nice to play here in the Lickey Hills. Great surroundings and a balanced course of challenging, interesting and pleasant holes. Played this time in the spring when the mud had dried up. Balls were rolling well. They had just "hollow-tined" the greens so good to play. It can be a bit rough and ready around the edges, but remember it's a municipal in effect. Good value prices, certainly for seniors anyway. Nice cafe there too with good grub, tea, etc.

Course is looking good after the winter weather. It is usually open when other courses close. It need new equipment and additional staff to make it outstanding. The green keepers do a great job considering there are so few of them. Would recommend a round there.

Beautiful course, nice to play, good cafe

Set in the Lickey Hills, this is a lovely course to play in a beautiful setting. For what effectively is a municipal course, it was in great condition when we played it. Tough in parts but not too challenging, therefore enjoyable. Friendly cafe staff serving great grub. Love it!

Wonderful day out at Lickey Hills. Wasn't sure what to expect with a few mixed reviews recently but found the course in excellent condition. Really quite stunning views over birmingham off the 4th tee and nice mature trees giving it a very exclusive feel. Surprisingly forgiving off the tee but still presented interesting challenges with careful shot selection off the tee needed and a few challenging long par 3s. Real shame about the motorcycle vandalism on a couple of the greens but hopefully with the good weather these will be grown over soon. Looking forward to coming back and playing here again.

Awful course

Very bad condition course, obviously does not get maintained very well, it was very wet and boggy the mud comes over your feet, tee shots arw hitting fairways and plugging, obviously most places are very wet and boggy atm with all the rain but this place is extreme, not only that the tee mats are in awful condition, and the greens are all different lengths in cut and all patchy and score marks all over them

Gorgeous views

It takes a bit of effort to get to the 3rd but the views are worth it. Lovely wide fairways, with a few hazards to avoid. The fairways had been recently cut and were well kept. The greens too had plenty of grass on and ran well.
