What a mess
Oh dear. I have played here several times over the years being a friend of a member. I played this week and was amazed at the appalling state of all aspects of the course. To top it off they charged £50 even as a guest. I messaged them complaining about its condition but received no response.Avoid unless you enjoy playing on wooly goose poo covered greens, leaking sprinkler heads, dangerous uncovered sprinkler heads, poor tees and fairways. It used to be good, such a shame

Shocking
Once upon a time this course was lovely to play on, however the last 3-4 years its fallen off a cliff. The owner has decided to take all the money out of the club and use it to fund his crazy golf. The tee boxes are either like a raised bunker or a rough, the greens are the worst I've ever seen anywhere, and the fairways can be either cut down to the bone or 6 inches thick. The place is an absolute shambles. Wouldn't play here for free.Reviewer Rating

Appalling
Unfortunatrly i am a member. This course is in horrendous condition. No greenkeeper for 5 years, greens are diseased and dead. Fairways are different lengths from 1 inch to 6 inches depending. Bunkers have granite in them, some tee boxes have no grass. No 4 balls before 12 noonReviewer Rating

Has potential to be a great course....
Owners seem more interested in trying to generate an income from the surrounding areas of the course and clubhouse. Currently, an odd ruling is in place permitting up to 3 balls only at peak times (regardless of how quiet the course is) and then allowing 4 balls after midday. With some reasonable focus and investment in the course itself, it would be thriving.Reviewer Rating

Needs investment
A course I used to always look forward to playing as it’s a very challenging course that makes you really plan your shots around the course. Lots of water in play on the back nine (north course).Played today and was disappointed by the overall condition of the course. Fairways seem a lot narrower then before but don’t seem to be cut often, but the real disappointment was the areas to the side off the fairways, very inconsistent, as some areas bare ground, others thick grass or areas under repair. Just seems to lack the finish and suspect that there has been a real lack of investment lately
