What The Club Says
Stunning 18 hole Golf Course designed by James Braid, which represents all that is best in a part links & pastoral course.
The front 9 holes run alongside the River Wyre with breathtaking views of the Bowland Hills, Morecambe Bay and our fabulous club while the back 9 take you down into the woodland part of the golf course with fantastic views of the local countryside and wildlife.

CHALLENGING
Very nice course suitable for Golfers of all levels and abilities? but a bit challenging for someone like me who still struggles with any lie not akin to a tee box!VERY friendly staff and excellent facilities too, practive net, putting green, and a golf shop offering an extensive range of clothing and equipment, including buggy and electric trolly hire. Tuition is also available, and while I've not had a lesson here myself, friends say the Pro?s are top drawer!
Club house is also very, very nice? food, drinks and a terrace overlooking the 01st tee and 18th green?
Overall an excellent golf course and highly recommended!

Knott End, great mix of links and inland
Knott End, not a course I'm familiar with but upon arriving I figured this was going to be a typical windy coastal affair. The course had some great holes, and although the greens were a little bumpy it's to expected for April. The course transitions into a bit of parkland golf for the back nine and is a welcome break from the elements on the exposed opening nine where the wind is always going to be a co start factor.Reviewer Rating
