Absolutely gorgeous- but a bit damp
This may be the prettiest golf course in the world. Nestling by the sea on the Isle of Skye, you’ll be distracted by gorgeous views in every direction. It’s stupendously lovely to be there. The course itself though was a bit wet the two times I played it. In fairness, it does rain a lot on Skye but the first time I played, in March, I sent a drive down the middle of the first fairway and my ball disappeared straight into the turf. The second time I played it was August and some of the fairways were still damp enough that there was standing water on them. But just to be clear, I had an absolute blast both times I played. To be knocking a golf ball around in such scenery is a rare treat. I’ll definitely play it again. Might just use irons off the tee though, and try to knock them down for a low ball flight to prevent ball sinkage....Reviewer Rating

Good, scenic course
A compact, well prepared golf course in a beautiful setting. A good variation of holes, but could do with a bunker or two. Would recommend to play.Reviewer Rating
