What The Club Says
We are a privately run members club offering a warm welcome to visiting golfers and societies. The course is situated 1 mile east of Ilfracombe towards Combe Martin on the magnificent North Devon coastline and offers spectacular views along the coast and across the Bristol Channel to South Wales. The 18 hole course is well maintained throughout the year and although not the longest, the undulations and prevailing South Westerlys will still offer up a challenge to golfers of all abilities. Whilst visiting why not treat yourself to a buggy from the Pro Shop and ride around in Style.

Pleasant surprise
Not really knowing what to expect it was a pleasant surprise especially for the way Mark the professional treated us nothing was to much trouble. I will put my hands up I wasn’t expecting to much after a quick look on line first impression was short and lots of par 3’s which is true on paper but in reality the topography or the course makes it play long and interesting and 6 par 3 holes are it’s crowning glory especially the short 75yd 4th over a lost ball quarry to a not very deep fast green not easy by any means the greens were great condition and fast with some very subtle slopes and run offs that if not careful you can easily degrees a putt, it is hilly but after the first initial climb it tends to play along the hills gently climbing high so high up you could see all the way to the mumbles in Wales and yes you can see the sea from every tee. All in all I can find very little to criticise, maybe the couple of cross over holes I’m not a fan of but was having so much fun barely noticedWill definitely be making a return visit

A little Gem of a course
Stayed local on my hols to this course and always take a bag of clubs in car on hols. Wow what a little gem of a course. Played at 06:30 for two mornings running. The view's are amazing from every hole and so was the condition of the course. Tees, Fairways, Approaches and Greens all in top tip condition.
The Course is short with 3 x Par 3 on the trot but all three are different from each other and with the wind getting up certainly makes them harder.
The club sec, ground keepers and Chef are all very welcoming to visitors.
All in All a very enjoyable experience, hopefully get back one day.

Be prepared its hilly
I could not believe how hilly the course was - I would suggest booking a buggy.Watch the course video as a number of holes are blind and the course has a set of crossing fairways (I lost a ball through the crossing four ball played my ball in error)
The course was in god condition and the greens were great.
