Houghton Golf Club
Played Houghton on Saturday and it was the n near perfect condition. The nice weather was a contributing factor,but the course was also well maintained. The only small gripe I have is that I managed to lose a couple of balls just off the fairway. I know this is part and parcel of the game but I was barely 2 yards into the first cut. Maybe a little more trimming and removal of the mown grass would prevent players being penalised for slightly of centre drives. Other than that I couldn't fault the course and the cleaners b itself. Lovely Course
