What the club says: The Hilton & Allander Courses are set out in acres of scenic, rolling moorland, the gateway to the "Trossachs" and "Loch Lomond" some 600 feet above sea level.
The Hilton Course is a 18-hole course of 6089 yards, has a Par and C.S.S. of 70.
The Allander Course is a 18-hole course of 5487 yards, has a Par of 69 and C.S.S. of 67.

Stunning hidden gem short course
While not long, the Allander course at Hilton Park is an exciting and exhilarating golf course. A mix of some tough park 3 holes, a couple of excellent par 5s and the full range of par 4 holes, this course is brilliant fun to play. Not tough if you can hit it straight but then that is the challenge. Two amazing holes that would fit in at any great course are the uphill par 3 4th and the sweeping left to right par 4 5th holes, one of the most exciting holes I have played in a long time. Amazingly friendly and hospitable - we were welcomed by a member on the 1st tee who gave us a few tips and said play from whatever tees you want (a very refreshing attitude). All the staff and members we came across were so friendly. If I didn't live so far away I would join this club in a heartbeat. The only minor downside is the greens were a bit slow but then it had been raining a lot so it was probably hard to get the mowers out.Reviewer Rating

Hard course. very hilly.
It was raining for the full week before we played. Overall the course handled it well. A few blind holes and next to no markers or direction signs. Catering was very poor although charging the same as similar venues.Reviewer Rating

I played the course for the first time,was just a little bit wet under foot,due to the heavy rain. Course played well greens were great,very challenging for all handicaps,looking forward to playing it again.

Terrific course, worth a visit
Conditions underfoot were heavy after overnight rain, but the course held up very well and the greens were in excellent condition and putted very well.Lots of variation to the holes across the 18 holes making good using of the hilly surroundings. The bunkers were in great condition and the trees keep you on your toes!

The course is very undulating and many holes are treelined. Greens were in excellent condition and the course was presented extremely well. Nice clubhouse and Pro shop.

Lovely views, fantastic greens
Course was lovely, with a couple of real stand-out holes, namely 4th and 17th for me. Some fantastic views around the course. Fairways were quite wet despite the lovely weather, can only hope that they will dry out in time for summer. Greens were immaculate.(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 103 Handicap: 0)

Our third outing of the year was held at Hilton Park G.C. Allander course. The course was in excellent condition and our catering requirements were superb ,served by helpful staff, as was the Professional in assisting with a most enjoyable day. We will be back.

"We are mixed handicap golfers ( 6-24 ) and we all found the course both challenging and rewarding. The pins were well placed to add to the challenge. We have played many courses inc Kingsbarns, The Carrick and many more in St Andrews, and a lot of championships courses in England and to find the same service and quality of course on our doorstep is very refreshing". Boring course. Feels like you play the same hole about 8 times - a long par 4 down a tree-lined fairway, with thick rough on either side and then an uphill approach to the green. Yawn. Unless you hit the ball dead straight, don't bother. Many better, cheaper and more interesting courses nearby

Played the Hilton Park course a couple of time recently, lovely well maintained course. Friendly members and ground keepers. Will play again. (Play on a Wednesday for great value £17.50)

I have played both courses - Hilton and Allender. Both courses are in immaculate condition and are a pleasure to play. Greens are reasonable speed, consistent and true.
If you are in the Glasgow area then they are well worth a visit.
