What The Club Says

The course and surrounding area are classified as a ‘Site of Special Scientific Interest' which includes a number of indigenous trees such as Rowan, Oak and Silver Birch, together with the invading Scots Pine. The course is also home to many birds and animals, including the rare Dartford Warbler, Woodlark, Night Jar, Adder, Deer, Badger and the Sand Lizard.

A beautful gem of a course

Wonderful course, one of my favourite's in England. A stunning parkland course. Deadly if you get in the heather although thoroughly enjoyable.

Excellent course in great condition . Rough (Heather ) on every hole can be challenging especially on a windy day .

This is a great course with some challenging holes and a peaceful atmosphere. The layout and condition was excellent and the greens were outstanding. There was a good variety of holes that tested my skills and I really enjoyed my round. Highly recommended.

This course is in great condition and the greens are outstanding. The layout is great and it's a fantastic test of golf skill. I've played for 60 years and this is probably the best course I have played.
