What The Club Says
The Montgomery Course is the more senior of the two courses. The 6,508 yard, par 72 is generally acknowledged as being the more demanding with 19 strategically placed bunkers and a pond, providing some unique challenges for even the more accomplished golfer. Its most challenging hole is the 443 yard par 4 18th and many a golfer has stood on the 18th tee thinking about The Montgomery Challenge Hall of Fame only to have their hopes dashed.
The Bruce Course is known as 'The Wild Child' of Kinross Golf Courses, At 6,231 yards it is not overly long but contains stunning views of the nearby Loch Leven. So while occasional golfers often find The Bruce more to their liking, scoring well is no given. And arrogant golfers beware: four early par-5s does not mean four "easy birdie holes", and those who think so often find their card in shreds embarrassingly early in the round. However, spot the optimum scoring opportunities on The Bruce and you just might outsmart this feisty course.

Challenging
More challenging than the Bruce course.Really nice condition, greens and fairways in top condition.
4 ball in front of us (2 ball), poor players, took until the 8th to allow us to play through, a bit annoying
