Situated in the centre of Ireland on the east side of the river Shannon and Lough Ree, the hotel at Glasson has been designed with the discerning golfer in mind. The new building, with its spacious reception blends in with the existing period clubhouse and the rooms boast magnificent views of the Lough and the golf course. The restaurant is very welcoming with open log fires and fine cuisine served to a high standard. It is easily accessible from all areas, just 1½ hours from Dublin, Galway and Shannon.

Glassonian Delight

If I lived closer I would seriously look at becoming a member here. Travel by Boat or car to access a fine hotel and leisure facility supported by a superb golf course that has been sued for PGA standard events. Well designed incorporating lots of water and lochs it is a gem that deserves a higher profile. Thoroughly enjoyable golfing experience in every respect. lost several golf balls but they were my fault not the courses.

Spectacular lakeside course

Good Golf Course

Course was in really good shape evening it was raining the whole day. Need to be good of the tee to have a good score.

Waited for ten minutes before anyone turned up at reception, was told its a little bit wet underfoot (what an understatement) and failed to tell us they were sanding all the greens that morning. Glasson Golf Club is a typical golf and country club which you can find anywhere. this was a very disappointing end to a golfing holiday in central Ireland.

Best course in the Midlands

This is a wonderful course located in the lovely Glasson, Co Westmeath. Staff are really friendly and course was in superb nick despite the adverse weather conditions in recent weeks. Golf deteriorated as the weather worsened over the course as the afternoon passed.
