What the club says: The Phoenix course at Gaudet Luce has two contrasting loops of holes. The front 9 is tight and requires good course management policy, in particular the long 9th with its tight out of bounds along the right hand side. In contrast the back 9 is more open and is longer, with a network of water features. The 12th is generally considered to be one of the finest Par3’s in Worcestershire, fairly long and with water surrounding the green.
The Par 3 Hadzor course was built to USGA specification and has developed into an excellent test of any golfer’s short game. The course is used by many unions for training purposes and is a great benefit for any golfer looking to improve their short game. This course is a great introduction for new golfers looking to hone their skills before moving onto the Phoenix.

Never even considered this course, but it was recommended by a work colleague. A hidden gem within Worcestershire. Some great holes and was great value for money. Highly recommended. - Jul 26 2014

Golf Course Reviews for Gaudet Luce Golf Club
A very interesting course, lots of variety and some tough tee shots through narrow gaps between trees. Really enjoyed this course, which is not that long but requires accuracy. The greens were quite slow, unlike others at this time of year, but it was quite nice and once you got used to the pace they were consistent. Lots of sand in bunkers and plenty of hazards, undulating fairways and a few water features provide a stimulating round and it was very nice from a nature perspective with baby moorhens and ducks providing added interest for my 8 year old son. Particularly liked the par 3 holes.

Good coarse but need to play more often to get round in under 100 with a 25 handicap
(Round played: May 2018 - Score: 111 Handicap: 25)
Considering the dry spell we are in the course was in good condition. The greens had been watered regularly and so were receptive to landing a ball on them and were lovely and green. A ladies competition let us go before them and so we then had the course to ourselves, a big thank you to them. Great variety of holes, always look forward to playing here.

After recent poor weather the course was in excellent condition, greens immaculate, friendly staff and for ?20 including a bacon bap absolutely fantastic value for money
Interesting course with lots of narrow targets when driving off the tee. Accuracy definitely needed and overall a good course.

Course was excellent, every hole was something different, some challenging holes, greens were very fast but also very true. Areas of planted wild flowers were very nice to see.
