What the club says: The Phoenix course at Gaudet Luce has two contrasting loops of holes. The front 9 is tight and requires good course management policy, in particular the long 9th with its tight out of bounds along the right-hand side. In contrast, the back 9 is more open and is longer, with a network of water features. The 12th is generally considered to be one of the finest Par3’s in Worcestershire, fairly long and with water surrounding the green.
The Par 3 Hadzor course was built to USGA specification and has developed into an excellent test of any golfer’s short game. The course is used by many unions for training purposes and is a great benefit for any golfer looking to improve their short game. This course is a great introduction for new golfers looking to hone their skills before moving onto the Phoenix.

Worth Visiting

Played recently on a Sunday morning; busy tee-times but there were no hold ups and the pace of play was just right; excellent but tricky greens; fairways and tees were in excellent condition; good views of the surrounding countryside; nice to have some water hazards

Great condition

Course was in great condition, staff were great, fellow golfers were great, no snobbery. How ever the one thing that was very annoying was the tenth tee. I appreciate the weather was nice and people were enjoying the atmosphere but letting young children run up and down the steps to the tee box and on the tees whilst trying to play was very annoying

We had not played here for a long time and were very pleased to see that the course was in excellent condition, the greens were the best we have played on since returning to golf after Covid. Layout is great. Staff very friendly and arrangements had been made to eat outside the clubhouse, again excellent. Will always return to play again.

Hidden gem

Very close m5, but noise is not a problem. Nice layout with some challenging holes.
Greens need some work, but is early in season

Outstanding customer care. The Pro shop staff went way above and beyond to help us when one of our group fell in the lake. I can't thank them enough for their generosity and kindness.
It meant that we could continue our play and enjoy the rest of the day. This is the second time that we've played here. The Hadzor course is beautiful and lots of fun. Great for families because you can go round as many times as you want for the same price, but playing golf, foot golf and/ or
disc golf. Can't recommend highly enough.

Pronounced Gor-Day-Loose !

Lovely friendly course near Worcester, and easily accessible from the M5.
Back nine feels much more mature than the front nine, and front nine can be soggy in parts. A good mixture of holes & challenges including water.
Enjoyable place to play golf, and a very friendly pro/pro-shop.
Some local members were quite rude on two separate occasions.

What a shame I have been looking forward coming out of lockdown and playing this course again to be honest I wish I’d left it another three months the greens are in terrible condition at the moment to the point were it’s a total lottery when putting , It might of been a nice gesture to drop the price as the greens are not in great condition

Worth a visit.

Course in fairly good conditions albeit some greens were very wet and therefore many variations of speed on each green. Punishing rough around some greens but this is probably due to the weather and being unable to cut unlevel surfaces. Very good Covid measures and £15 for a single use only buggy was very fair.

Challenging Par 3

At 749yds, the Hadzor course at Gaudet Luce may seem small, but it's excellent for improving your short game. Club selection, control of swing and accuracy are key to getting a good score. The greens can be deceptively fast at times too!
