What the club says: The Corbie Hill Course is a natural 18 hole Scottish Links built round Corbie Hill. It has a standard scratch of 71(USGA slope rating 129) off the medal tees and 69 (USGA slope rating 124) off the yellow boxes. Founded in 1777 and later redesigned by the five times open champion James Braid in 1922 the course is a good yet fair test of golf.

The Rosehill 9 hole course is more parkland by nature. It is a par 66, standard scratch 63 but still provides a good test of golfing skills. Ideal for beginners and the older golfer.

What a fabulous course

I have visited Fraserburgh Golf Club, several times. I had American guests there today, 14/8. They were blown away by the layout of this fantastic links golf course.
The highest praise was heaped upon this traditional links. They had just played St Andrews and Dumbarnie, but rated this course higher. Just play here, that’s it

Lovely traditional links

Had a great day here. Wind was blowing and course showed its teeth, but the scenary, condition and staff made it a memorable experience. Bit off the beaten track, but a hidden gem and well worth the drive.

Wow

Drove from Glasgow and found course closed due to puddles on 18th fairway, but the nine hole course was still open. Was welcomed by a few of the members who subsequently spoke to the captain who with the green keepers kindly agreed to open the course for us. What else can I say? After we finished went back up to clubhouse for refreshments were again we found everyone extremely friendly and inviting. Played in many courses but this by far the most friendly and welcoming. The course was excellent with the wind trying hard to spoil your card. All in all staff, members, food and course were excellent. Would recommend this course/club to any golfer and is a great example of how a club should be run. \\

Excellent old style links venue north of aberdeen. Value for money fantastic in comparison with other established clubs in the area e.g Cruden Bay, Peterhead, Murcar Links. A brute on a windy day due to undulations, plateaued greens and elevated tees on several holes but very playable on most days.

Friendly atmosphere in the clubhouse, no jacket & tie policy or snobbery that is present at other clubs in the area.

Rip Off

£60 for a days midweek golf where as it's £325 for a years 5 day membership this club seem to believe ripping off its visitors makes them feel welcome. The price was enough to kill my ability to enjoy what probably is a good course

This was the 3rd time we'd played here and there wasn't the slightest hint of a breeze, which meant it was like playing a completely different course. Excellent course nonetheless and will definitely return in the future.

Superb day but green fees are climbing and if no 1/2 price voucher then its outside my range. Greens this visit were the slowest I've seen. The food is great and bar prices keen the bar staff friendly but much prettier in previous visits. Showers need attention and the floor is down right dangerous when wet.

A good example of links golf with the back 9 especially winding its way between the dunes, the greens and general course condition was excellent for the time of year and was well worth the visit. A warm friendly welcome in the clubhouse made it a great day out.

Wonderful, simply wonderful links course with some stunning views and stunning holes. Excellent club staff are very helpful and the greens were super fast. The par 3 7th is a stunning hole, three bunkers surround the severe sloping back to front green, fantastic course for £12.50 we paid.

Some testing holes for the high handicapper, some nice long fairways for the long drivers and some that need a little more guile. Once in the long stuff you may as well take a drop, that is unless you come across a couple walking their two black Labradors who are adept at sniffing out your ball for you (the labradors that is, not the couple! Thankyou! made a par on that hole) Lovely greens and the club staff and manageress are extremely nice people. Thoroughly enjoyed a rather damp and blustery afternoon. Used a two4one voucher here so hence the value for money rating although the midweek fee is now £35 not the £20 stated above.
