What The Club Says
Forest Hills is a naturally undulating parkland course set in the beautiful Forest Of Dean and is currently regarded as being one of the finest courses in the area, with such excellent drainage, tees and greens that it is playable all year round. Challenging enough for County Events and friendly enough for visitors and societies to enjoy a day's golf.

Forest Hills
Great course, not been for over 5 years. Despite all the recent rain it is in fantastic condition with no signs of suffering despite the huge amount of rain. Shame no food in the clubhouseReviewer Rating

An excellent Course.
I have played this course a few times now and today it was in the best condition I think I have ever seen it. Some great holes where positioning is better than brute strength. A few rolling fairways so make sure you hit the right side or you can roll into trouble easily. Overall an excellent course and well worth a visit.Reviewer Rating

Great club and staff and food. Course challenging, with trees cominging into play on most holes. Greens great and fairway dry after recent rain.Reviewer Rating

Certainly a Course you have to play
Lovely Course, although a bit of a find, once found then its an excellent course. Bit up and down so if any walking problems then deffo a buggy required. Some lovely holes and would certainly recommend it to give it a try.Reviewer Rating

Lovely course and friendly members
I played here with the Forest of Dean golf club in our away game with our neighbours. The course was in superb condition, the layout is very interesting. I needed to do some research on the google maps /Shotscope before playing as I had only played it once before many years ago. This is quite a tactical golf course, the driver shouldn't be used on every hole (if you're wild like me), there are a few dog legs which require precision and distance if you're using the big stick so I used hybrids and 4 irons to keep myself in play and let the driver rip on appropriate holes. There is a variety of ponds, trees, bunkers and long grass to catch you out.
The greens were very fast and challenging with mild to moderate undulations..
The food we had was very nice.
