Beautifully maintained course
This is the first time I've played this course and was very impressed by the well maintained fairways and greens. I found the course quite difficult as some of it is quite hilly for anyone such as myself who struggles this type of lay of the land, if I played it again I would have to have a buggy but it is worth trying if you don't have any issues with hilly areas. There is a driving range but I can't give my opinion on that as I didn't use it, it's actually across the road from the actual course and you use your own balls, there are practice nets in the golf course area it's self just across from the club house and there is a nice putting green. The staff and golfers were very friendlyReviewer Rating

Lovely parkland setting
After passing this course on way to the Vale for 15 years I wish I'd stopped earlier.Course was in great condition and the holes along the river and up the hill are very challenging. A great course and friendly members !

Worth a visit
Great set up it might be 2 loops of 9 but with 18 tee boxes it made the back 9 a different courseThe greens where quick and true a real challenge
The club pro and assistant where really welcoming and made me feel welcome

A good test.
We played this nine hole course on a very hot day and thoroughly enjoyed it. There are different tees on each hole with at least one hole changing from a par 3 to a par 4. The course condition, tee boxes and greens were excellent, with the greens being a good test as they were quick and 'hilly' to such an extent that the three of us found it hard to read the borrows. Our failing, not the course's! Two holes that are across a steep slope were particularly challenging and quite different from the rest of the relatively flat course. Try it.Reviewer Rating

Although I enjoy the course I struggle to post a decent round over eighteen holes, this is just me though. Would recommend that you play the course though as it does represent a good challenge

A course of two half's
A repeated 9 hole, so 4 holes which are down by the river, beautiful, but what slopes to get down and play across, some of steepest Ive played. (that makes 8 steep holes)Reviewer Rating
