What The Club Says
Manor Farm Fishery, Golf and Caravan Leisure Park has now been renamed and wish to be known as Harvington Golf Centre.
Anchor Course – A recently redesigned 18 hole course with holes ranging from 148 to 510 yards (Par 3s, 4s and 5s). Nestling alongside the banks of the Warwickshire Avon, the wildlife and scenery make the course a pleasant amenity. The course is flat with mature hedgerows and trees. The design is intended to create a degree of difficulty without becoming too onerous to walk round.
Mill Course – A well established and maintained 9 hole pay and play genuine short course with holes ranging from 145 to 190 yards.
The two courses combined cover an area in excess of 120 acres.

Awful course
On first appearances it seems reasonable value for money, but when you play you realise you’ve actually been scammed. The tee boxes were largely acceptable, the fairways at least partially maintained, but the biggest offender of all are the greens (not one, but every single one) were a mess - more soil than turf, some with massive lumps in them, others with what look like old burrows which no one could be bothered to attempt repair. It’s like no one cares. It may be very quiet there, but don’t think that gives you an opportunity to learn to play in peace - you may as well find a net and hit into that.Reviewer Rating

Worst course in the UK?
Now I know I haven't played every course in the UK but I think it's safe to say it's got to be a contender for the worst. The pricing seems inflated for the quality. 9 holes costs roughly the same as a municipal course, which is where you should spend your money instead. If the club shop had been open, I'd have demanded my money back on first glimpse of the greens. The worst I've ever seen. If I had the choice between only playing at the driving range for the rest of my life or playing golf here, I'm choosing the driving range every time.Reviewer Rating

open friendly course need food.
We were met by extremely friendly staff in pro shop, offered coffee etc and advice about the course; greens were patchy in places but smooth overall.fairways were well groomed and the course presented a challenge for both of us.Reviewer Rating

Greens terrible condition
I've played this course several times in recent years and always felt the greens left a lot to be desired, I last played the Anchor course in May 2020 when it reopened after first outbreak of Covid and was hoping that as no-one had been able to play it would have given them the opportunity to get the greens up to scratch, I was somewhat disappointed as the greens were as bad if not worse so I left a review back then on May 2020 and decided to find another course to play. As another 2 years have gone by since that last game I decided to give them another chance and hoped they had worked on the greens. I was extremely disappointed to find that they were in terrible condition. They have increased their green fees to £16.00 so won't be playing it again hence this latest and last review, I'd rather pay more and play on decent greens and get a more enjoyable game.Reviewer Rating

Greens in poor condition
It's a shame that the condition of the greens on the Anchor course let this golf course down.I know we have had the COVID19 issue but I would have thought this would have been the ideal time to at least do some work on the greens themselves even with limited staff so they were ready when the go ahead was given to being able to play again. The rest of the course is ok but with poor greens then the use of the course is really just to get out and practice your long, mid and short shots along with chipping but if you want to practice your putting on nicely conditioned greens then forget it. I will play it again but it will be purely for practicing my off green shots rather than a good overall game of golf.
