What the club says: Set in the Carmarthenshire countryside, Derllys Court is an outstanding tree lined, parkland course. This 18 hole, Par 70 course boasts views from the summit which provide a panoramic vista of rolling hills and valleys, while the presence of water on the course makes for an interesting and challenging round.

Nice course, very rude staff
Having played and enjoyed the layout several times before, I was unfortunate enough to have a very poor experience with the club today. Having been back in the area I had intended on playing the Friday, Sunday and Wednesday while I was at home in west Wales, brining friends to play and enjoy the club on all occasions. However, I was greeted with utter distain and rudeness on my attempted visit on Friday. I was running late due to closed roads in the area and a 25 minute delay in our journey, I had phoned over an hour in advance of our tee time informing of the delay and was told this would be okay, I phoned again as the tee time passed to inform we where now a short 10 minutes away, and offered to walk the first few holes in order to get ahead of other customers and not to cause delays to anyone else. However I was told (rather rudely to say the least) that I had "buggered" myself and wouldn't be welcome today. A real shame as I like the course, but unfortunately won't be able to bring myself to take any custom there again.Reviewer Rating

Derllys 1st Visit
This course is great value for money.The front 9 is very interesting and there's no easy putt!
I'll certainly be back, staff are excellent, great atmosphere.

A gem of a course in West Carmarthenshire. Under new ownership. Improving greens. Nice welcome at the clubhouse and a superb view of the countryside. Lovely course with distinctly different front and back nines
With distinctly different front and back nines this course provides a different challenges. The front nine has many blind shots and undulating greens and the 9th with second shot over a lake of a lay up is real risk or reward.The back nine is quite different, more akin to a parkland course no less enjoyable, with the 15th a real gem with a lake in the middle. The greens are easier than the front nine.
The course was in great condition despite the recent rain and will be returning to this course.

called in on my way home from Tenby in june 2015. I had a very warm reception and found the members very friendly. The 2 members I caught up with on the 2nd invited me to join them. I was advised to give it some welly to get over the hill and found the lake which caused some amusement. I found the course in good condition and thoroughly enjoyed all 18 holes. I will surely return.

A friend and I play here on a fortnightly basis and thoroughly enjoy it. The course is challenging for beginner. We used to play Garnant but found that it was very wet in the winter. Cwrt Derllys certainly cannot be accused of this. Good drainage keeps the course in fantastic playing conditions whatever the weather. The course is set in a parkland and is well kept. There is no real need for a golf buggy, holes 6, 7 , 8 and 9 are long holes which are hilly but other holes are not taxing to walk. Cannot speak highly enough of the course or the very friendly staff. It has a large practice green and practice range.

Cousre was ok, cold reception from the staff especially the woman atthe till. Enjoyed the top half of thecourse the bottom half was a little tedious and easy.
