What the club says: At Coollattin Golf Club, you are surrounded by scenic views of the Wicklow countryside. The club pride themselves in providing the ideal setting and facilities for making your Golf time with them as enjoyable as possible. A little more than an hour’s drive from Loughlinstown Roundabout from south Dublin or the M50 from west Dublin, Coollattin is a challenging 18 hole course. It is an oasis of calm in a truly beautiful woodland setting.

Coollattin Golf Club is open 7 days a week and has full bar, dining and teaching facilities. No better way to spend a lazy day.

Knowing where to aim your drives is essential

This is a challenging course set among many mature trees, that means shots need to be placed well to give an opportunity to approach the green with the 2nd or 3rd shot. If you haven't played this before, do some research as to where the green is, i.e. dogleg right or left. Don't rely on the map of the course on the scorecard as you will need a magnifying glass. Several of the drives are blind, in that you can't see the green you are heading to, so placement is important. The course was in good condition, greens not overly big. The back 9 are a bit more open, but a few large trees do have to be contended with.
