What the club says: Our heavily-wooded parkland course opened in 1973. The course is built on clay ground so is wet in winter but perfect for summer play. Each hole is individually tree-lined and golfers cross water seven times in 9 holes. The layout ensures minimal walking between green and tee. Signature hole, the second, involves a 170 yard carry across the Agivey River. The Inn makes a perfect clubhouse!

Terrible

We played so should I say played three holes on the brown trout golf course on 27/4/2024 we were told they had only done the first cut and gave us a reduction price of ten pounds the girl behind the bar said it wasn’t Royal Portrush that’s an under statement the fairways had about two inches long grass and about a foot high in the semi rough that’s if you found your ball and it didn’t plug all so the ground was cut up tractor tracks the course should not be open until ready to play ???????

A 9 hole course where you have to be very straight off the Tee. The greens aren't the best, but overall good fun to play.
