What The Club Says
The 18 Hole Golf Course was designed to challenge golfers of every standard. The course comprises four par 3’s, ten par 4’s and four par 5’s arranged in two loops of nine holes starting and finishing close to the clubhouse. The 9 Hole Academy Course is set in 25 acres of orchards. The 9 hole course varies from 76 to 187 yards long holes and offer a unique opportunity for ‘beginners’ to have a feel of what playing on the golf course is as well as a good test for more experienced golfers to sharpen their short game play.

Challenging
Overall I like the layout of the course generally well maintained considering heavy traffic. The course was suffering a bit from dry weather so quite bare in places unfortunately the greens need a good cut and roll as very fluffy and bobbly .The other thing let's Boughton down is the price of refreshments very pricey in the bar .Reviewer Rating

Expensive for what it is
?54 for a round on New Years day. 1st 4 holes frozen greens. Fairways have been scarified and look rough. Full of mud, not much grass to pick and place on the fairways. Would not recommend playing this course in winter, and not for ?54. Worth maybe ?25-?30 in winter. Greens are ok, tee boxes ok. Coffee also expensive in the clubhouse.Reviewer Rating

Improving condition
After a long wet winter where the fairways in particular were very muddy for weeks on end, the course is now in great condition. Greens are very good, fairways hard but with generally good covering of grass giving good lies.Reviewer Rating

New Layout
I haven't played the scores in over 10 years, so the new layout threw me a little. The greens are just as good as they were back then, in very good condition with Challenging slopes. The fairways were in decent condition and it was quite easy to play out of the rough. The tea boxes were uneven and had many divots. Would definitely come back again.Reviewer Rating

A very very nice place to play and socialise afterwards
Beautiful course, that's open and challenging for a high handicapper. Greens are fast and difficult to read. I enjoyed everything about it.Reviewer Rating
