What The Club Says
In the south of the county the 9-hole course at Borris commands panoramic views of the neighbouring countryside with Mount Leinster and the Blackstairs mountains to the east, and the Barrow Valley to the west. This parkland course is maintained to a very high standard with modern sand based greens and an automatic watering system. It would be difficult to find a course in a more picturesque setting, with the stately McMurrough Kavanagh family seat in the background - a very good test of golf. Practice area and putting green available. Visitors will enjoy the warm and friendly atmosphere of the clubhouse.

Lovely parkland course
Great well kept course in brilliant settings not a hard course to learn as based on a 9 hole with dual tee positions.(Round played: Jul 2019 - Score: 87 Handicap: 17.6)

Borris Co Carlow
The Republic of Ireland has many great clubs and Courses and are maintained to very high standards, This course is no different and is a fine parkland course based upon 9 holes but different tee position for the second nine. The greens are amazing smooth and quick, fine sand bunkers and tree lined fairways also has a bit of a feature hole but no water hazard. its very good value for money. I have found with many of the courses in Ireland getting a Tee time with the number of lady players (unlike the UK) and their competitions can be difficult.Reviewer Rating
