Below par
To start off it is very hilly. Also very busy, on average waiting a good 2-3 minutes every shot. Also very narrow with tee boxes right next to greens making play dangerous at times. Course was average at best and massively over priced.Reviewer Rating

Worth the drive
Aspley has been on the radar for a few years, so finally after a rain closure and covid (19-21) we booked in for the WS1 @ £35 great value day out, course was excellent and some real stand out holes. 10th & 16th my favorites, clubhouse was extremely friendly and the service was spot on. WS was very well run and with 3 prizes + 2 nearest the pins + brekky and after golf meal what's not to like. just wish it was closer.Reviewer Rating

Good layout, but poor condition
The club has great views from the clubhouse. The layout is good with plenty of shaped holes, and on the back nine a few raised tees which make drive look long. Three of the par 3's have greens that are below the tee providing a good view of the green. The par fives are strong and require well positioned first and second shots. The greens were good, with plenty of grass, receptive to a flighted shot and rolling well. The fringes were also lush. The tees had been well watered, The problem was the fairways which were in very poor condition, with both bare patches and clumps of grass. There were several holes where it was very difficult to keep the ball on the fairway. There was also damage from badgers on plenty of holes.
