What the club says: In total there are 5 eighteen hole golf courses - Oakwood, Pines, Beeches, Willows and our new course Kigbeare.
The courses occupy a lightly wooded parkland setting, in rolling countryside on the foothills of Dartmoor National Park. Extra hazards have been added to the natural ones already present, with dozens of bunkers and eighteen lakes making play even more of a challenge.

Golf Course Reviews for Ashbury Golf Club
This complex has something for everyone,7golf courses in great condition the main course is the Kigbeare 18 very good holes ,all courses are really challenging.the complex also has swimming ,hydro pools jacuzzi,it has a snooker hall ,bowling alleys, dance hall 5 tv rooms ,craft centre and more......and the food is fantastic and plentiful.accommodation is "OK"
We have played here a couple times before and had a great day out. Sadly the course wasn't in the best of conditions. Actually the greens were quite poor indeed. However, it won't stop us wanting to try it again, but.......probably in 2019.

Like majority of courses in the South of England the grass is brown and it is very dry, greens are suffering from lack of water and are very fast. Still very playable even in this conditions.

My friend and i played this course recently and the services to be excellent. The course is challenging and excellently maintained.
Even the ground staff have admitted that the rain over winter has caused untold damamge and only now are they able to maintain the greens. Very slow and very lumpy

Course was not in good condition after the terrible spring weatherand the greens were in a terrible state, bobbly and very slow.

we seam to get a bit less each year we turn up .buggys price goes up free gifts have gone.if this is the way its going we might be looking closer to home as the 450 m.ile around trip might be to much if it is not worth the eight hours of travel .we could stay at home and just travel around to our local coarses
(Round played: Aug 2017 - Score: 97 Handicap: 26.8)
Having so many options of courses to play it is hard to fault the choice of types of golf to suit all golfers. At present they are doing modifications to the Beeches course for the construction of a 3G Sports Pitches so the 1st & 2nd holes are out of play. The Beeches now starts at the 3rd Tee after playing the Beeches 6th you play the Pines 15th & 16th then go Beeches 7th and finish the round on the Beeches. It is well signed. When playing the Pines there is a slight change due to the 15th & 16th being used on Beeches so you use the "Spare" holes at the 7th & 17th, again all well signed and scorecards as above have been produced.
