NEW CLUBS
I recently had a fitting with James at the Academy. Following this I bought a set of Wilson Staff Dynapower Forged (6,7,8,9,PW, GW & SW). I now hit the ball 20 - 30 yards further per club but more importantly straighter than with my old clubs (25 years old). I have since bought the 3, 4 & 5 irons to go with the others. So many issues have now been fixed. It has been worth every penny. My golf scores are now lower by 8 - 10 shots per round (after 4 weeks). All the staff at the Academy are great, very friendly and down to earth. I would highly recommend that you buy your new clubs and grips this way rather than onlineReviewer Rating

Good for practice
Good 9 hole course, greens have not been in the greatest condition but work was being undertaken on last round. 3rd green has massive ridge which can be quite fun to play yet extremely challenging if flag is placed on top ridge. Fairway parts are in good nick. A good course to practice short game on and good value, and staff are always friendly.Reviewer Rating

Great little course worth a try
This is a course with one 4 Par and eight 3 Pars. The short nature of the holes is ideal for beginners whose tee shots are not too long. It is a tight course, loads of trees to avoid and narrow fairways make it quite challenging. Golfers with 200 yard drives might as well leave their drivers at home! Great shop, driving range and cafe. Be aware it can get very busy as the attached holiday park supplies loads of custom from novices. Some really difficult greens!Reviewer Rating

Great winter knock
Course in great condition despite wet winter and recent frost. Excellent for a quick knock when other courses not open. Tight course, testing all the clubs in the bag.Reviewer Rating
