What the club says: Donabate Golf Club is a mature tree lined 27-hole parkland course, which was founded in 1925. Nine new holes were opened over the last five years.
All of the original greens have been redesigned. The 27 greens are now sand based and playable all year round.
Water hazards also come into play on nine holes. It is an enjoyable and challenging course for golfers of all abilities and requires good course management skills.

Found the course challanging as there are plenty of trees and some water. The greens were slick and true. Would play it again

A very tight course with a lot of mature trees. If you do not hit the fairway you will struggle.
The greens were fast but true.

The course is in excellent condition generally. Bunkers could do with some finer sand. A hole map/shot saver on each tee box would be great.
