Srixon’s Miguel Angel Jimenez Wins on Champions Tour Debut

Srixon Z-STAR ball player Miguel Angel Jimenez, picked up a victory at the Greater Gwinett Championship on the Champions Tour, this weekend, beating Bernhard Langer by two shots.
The Spaniard, who finished inside the top 5 at the Masters, was making his debut on the Champions Tour, having competed on the European Tour at the start of this season, and will now be focusing on cementing his place in the European Ryder Cup team.
With this weekend’s victory, the 50-year-old becomes only the third person in the history of the Champions Tour to win their first event by leading the tournament from start to finish.
Jimenez said: “To me it's not about money, it's about some different goals to make me feel proud of myself. To me I would feel nice to play on the Ryder Cup once more.
“I showed my game is in very good shape now, I'm very happy with my age and the way I'm doing it. The last 15 years is when my best golf is coming. It's nice. No complaint with 50."
