So, you are a highly successful PGA Tour Pro with years of experience and a bundle of tournaments to your name.  You can have any club in the world for free, but you walk into a golf shop, see a set you like and and buy them. Sound improbable?

Well that is exactly what K.J. Choi did when he purchased a brand new set of Mizuno irons off-the-rack ahead of this weeks Memorial tournament.

Traveling to the tournament in Dublin, Ohio on Monday, Choi stopped off at the local Golf Galaxy store and after hitting 5-10 shots with Mizuno MP 59's MP 69's and MP 64's he decided to purchase an off-the-rack set of Mizuno MP 64's which had both a stock shaft and stock grip.

Choi is well known for his tinkering on tour and has used his new set of Mizuno irons on the range and in practice during his pre-tournament preparations. It is expected that they will be in play for the Memorial where he will tee it up in attempt to win his 9th PGA Tour title.
