The course itself has been carefully constructed to offer different rhythms of play throughout the round. The first five holes are shaped by prevailing wind, requiring accuracy from the outset. From the 6th to 11th hole, the wind shifts in the player’s favour, creating opportunities for strategic scoring, while the distinctive run of holes from the 13th to the 15th demands control, creativity and thoughtful shot selection. The final stretch raises the challenge, culminating in a tough par-5 on the 16th, played into the wind; a par-3 on the 17th that demands precision; and a sweeping 18th hole played around a natural lake toward a long, narrow green that rewards confident club selection.
